The Crayon Show!!!!

A splash of color, a bit of imagination, and a vision of the future! Introducing: CRAYONS!! (cool music) Crayons, crayons, crayons, all different colors. Crayons, crayons, crayons, bring your dog and mother, crayons, crayons, crayons: Welcome to the Show!

Welcome back to the show everyone! I'm your host, Periwinkle Crayon, and this week we have a special treat!! Mayor Burgundy Crayon will be with us tonight!! Come out Mayor!!

(In walks Mayor Burgundy nodding tightly to the crowd before sitting formally on the coach next to Periwinkle)

Periwinkle: So, Mayor, how are you this fine evening.
Mayor: I'm fine, thank you.
Periwinkle: I don't mean to be nosy, but what's this about a new policy forbidding anyone to draw on the school walls?
Mayor: I can't talk about it.
Periwinkle: (exasperated) What? You mean it's true, and you won't even talk about it?
Mayor: I cannot share anything with the public until it is confirmed.
Periwinkle: Yes you can! Never mind that. What do you think about that new house on the corner of Apple street shaped like a strawberry?
Mayor: It's childish and I want it tore down. Let's talk about the book I'm writing. It's called 'How to be just like Mayor Burgundy in just 106 ways!'
Periwinkle: Huh. Fine, fine, have it your way. You want to be boring? Fine.
Mayor: Boring?! How outrageous! I'm not boring at all.
Periwinkle: Mmhmm.. You keep thinkin' that Burgundy. What would you like to talk about? Politics? School lunches? Allergies of the season?
Mayor: Oh yes! I've been having terrible asthma, I should really-
Periwinkle: I was kidding!!! (turns to the crowd) Well, that's really all the time we have for today, so join us next time on: THE CRAYON SHOW!!!!!

(Ending music, while Periwinkle herds the mayor off the set, the Mayor saying the whole time "Boring? I'm not boring! Come see my book!") Periwinkle shouts: Don't worry! We'll have someone interesting next time!!

Watermelon

Songs are wonderful things. So is music!! They make everything happy! Except sad songs. Those ones are sad. Well, technically, songs are music. Of course, there are instruments and stuff, like saxophone, trumpet, guitar, piano, which make up music. And then we have all these singers, singing about all there troubles and stuff, or just about random stuff. The thing is, there are a million song writers already out there, and a million people who can play instruments. Let's just say, we have music to last forever!!!! YAY!! The more people to learn music, the more music we have to listen too! And everyone will be happier!! Except if you listen to sad songs. Then you'll be sad. So everyone should turn on the radio and listen to music! Or you could go on YouTube and listen. Or something else. Whatever you want. Just be happy!! By listening to music! Except the sad songs. Those ones are sad. There are lots of happy songs to listen too, you just gotta find 'em!! Now, if anybody claims to hate music, wack them with a watermelon. Hopefully that'll knock some sense into them!!! Okay, now that that's done, I think I'll eat an apple. Good day.

School

Now that there's less than a week left of summer, we should go over the good things of summer. Swimming, no school, barbecues, relaxing, all that good stuff. Anyway, school will be starting soon, so we should be excited!! Instead of dreading school, we should look forward to it!! You should buy some nerds, (the candy) and sit down on the couch and read a book. Or play on the computer. Or draw a picture. I already suggested stuff you could do though, didn't I? Well, watermelon is good. Cucumbers are good too!! I don't really like mango's. They're okay. Pomegranates are good! Very juicy, and they're funny looking. Rainbows are pretty, and so are crayons. I like colored pencils. It's also good to make sure you know where you're going the first day of school. That's why they have open houses though. Wherever you're going to school at, just try to have fun! As much fun as you can have at school. Well, I'm out of ideas for right now. I'll try to blog later!!

Periwinkle: So tell me Purple, what are your feelings on being on this show.
Purple: I feel.. colorful.
Periwinkle: Mm.. I see, and what do you have to say to all those crayons watching?
Purple: I want to say HI, to my mom and dad, and my best friend Pink!! Hi Pink! I'm on TV!
Periwinkle: Yes, and what do you want to do with your life?
Purple: I want to travel to Paris, invent cars that run on water, and become president!!
Periwinkle: Yes, yes, well! I'm sure there will be an opening for crayon president soon.
Purple: No, I want to be president of the whole world!
Periwinkle: You want to be in charge? What a scary thought. I mean: good for you!!
Purple: I have big dreams to change the country!
Periwinkle: Yes, we really don't need to kn-

Summer

Okay. Summer is almost over. Sad, I know, but I felt the need to say something. This summer was kinda boring for me. I didn't really do anything. Well, I did, but not really. But I did do stuff! Anyway, school will be starting soon and everyone will be buying clothes and supplies. Okay, I'll admit that I have no idea where I'm going with this. So let's just say we had a good summer!! I've had some pretty weird dreams though. Like when I was underwater and could still breathe, and when I was at my friends house watching Spongebob. Yeah, that one was odd. Anyway, I hope you had a good summer and all and I want ice cream. No, I want pizza. Avocado pizza!! Haha, I've never had that before but it exists! It sounds amazing. Cheesey and lots of avocados. Yum. There are so many kinds of fruits. Lemon, lime, coconut, pomegranate, cherry, pear, strawberry, apple, grape, mango, watermelon, blueberry, banana, orange, plum, peach, nectarine, kiwi, razzberry, blackberry. Oh and then there's all different kinds of melons!! Other than watermelon, there's cantaloupe, honeydue, golden melon, Santa Claus melon (seriously I've had it.) Anyway, I'm going to the store so bye!!

Cheeto

Okay, so here's the deal. I am bored. And somewhere out there I know a bunch of other people are too! So here's a way to pass the time. Okay, I don't actually have a way, but still! It's the thought that counts! I don't really know if that applies here but we'll just say it does. Now, the important thing is to use your imagination! Everyone tells you that to the point where you're like: what if I don't want to use my imagination? Well, here's some things you could do: go shopping, take a walk, ride your bike, read a book, make some brownies, pet your dog, paint a dinosaur, make a pinata (it's possible, and quite fun!!) write a novel, write a letter to your great Aunt Matilda, email a pen pal, text your friends, pretend you're a snake, and... the biggest fun of all!!! SILLY STRING!! You should buy some. It's only around 2 bucks, really messy, and fun to squirt!! AND!! It comes in all different colors. So there you go. Have fun!

National Ice Cream Day

I have been told that today is NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY!!!!! Even if that isn't true, we should all eat a ton of ice cream!!! So go to the store and buy big tubs of ice cream. I recommend cookies and cream. It is a bunch of wonderful tastiness you will not get anywhere else!! I wonder what would happen if everything was made of ice cream! Well, it would melt on hot days and stuff, and when it rains. NO!! The sun would also be made of ice cream! And rain and clouds and trees and everything! That would be awesome!  I'm gonna go now and eat a bunch of ice cream so have a great National Ice Cream Day!!

Fuzzy Slippers

YAY!!!! I love slippers. The best part of slippers is the fuzziness, because without fuzziness there would not be slippers. Ok, so you just woke up and stuff, and you have your slippers on and someone rings the doorbell. And you're freaking out because you don't want the mailman to see your fuzzy slippers!! If he sees them, he'll want to steal them! AAAAAAAAH!!!! So you tell your dog or cat or lizard to attack him! (Or her) Of course, they don't listen so you just put on a brave face and open the door!! The mailman is right there holding a package for you to sign, and he says "Wow, your slippers look so fuzzy!" You quickly sign the package and run inside and lock yourself in your bedroom. Phew. Then you open the package. And inside! Are MORE fuzzy slippers! JOY!!!! I want green fuzzy slippers. Or blue ones. Or purple ones. Or yellow ones. Or rainbow ones. Or one's that look like bunnies!! Well, there you have it. A fuzzy slipper story. Of course that never really happened but that's ok.
